As a senior auditor, your duties also include investigating fraud or the mismanagement of funds. You can be an external auditor, who works for an accounting firm that provides accounting and auditing services to clients, or an internal auditor who works at a single company. Qualifications and necessary skills for this job include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, professional licensure, such as CPA, CIA, and CISA certifications, and at least two years of career experience as a licensed auditor.
