What is a real estate acquisition analyst?

As a real estate acquisition analyst, your duties are to perform market research and analysis of potential real estate investments for your firm’s investment portfolio. You collect data on your firm’s current investments as well as your competitor’s investments, review different types of potential real estate investments and the financial risks and rewards associated with them, write reports based on your findings, and present them to managers or investors. You may specialize in analyzing commercial or residential real estate, although many analysts perform research related to both.
