What is a quality controller?

A quality control inspector examines goods for defects, errors, or any facet that deviates from the manufacturer or industry specifications. As a quality control inspector, you are trained on the job, rather than needing any formal training or education. You work to ensure consumers never receive a malfunctioning or defective product; you may work in one of a variety of different industries, including food, textiles, automobiles, and computers. Although specific job duties vary depending on your industry, your general responsibilities always center on ensuring a quality product.
