What is a mobile DJ?

A mobile DJ works in the music entertainment business. Their job duties are to travel to an event or party and play music for people. They often use their own, portable sound equipment or work with venues regularly. A mobile DJ usually works from their physical or computerized music collection. To showcase their skills to potential employers, a DJ often creates a mixtape or sample playlist, or builds up experience working smaller events.
