A greeting card writing job is one where you come up with and write the notes contained within different types of greeting cards. Your responsibilities may include dealing with specific types of cards, such as those to express sympathy after a tragedy, those that celebrate a milestone or achievement, or thank you cards for different occasions. In addition to writing the cards, your duties include editing your writing, attending meetings with other members of the department to review or set new goals for new types of message, and preparing for busy times of the year, such as Valentine’s Day.
