What is a freelance model?

A freelance model finds representation through non-exclusive modeling agencies or seeks out their own opportunities and casting calls. Freelance models have many of the same job duties as models who are signed exclusively to a talent agency, lending their looks to various photo shoots and advertisements. However, freelance models must continually market themselves to secure jobs, so having excellent interpersonal skills is especially crucial for a freelance career.
