What is a digital advisor?

Career: Digital Advisor

A digital advisor is a type of financial planner who uses automated tools to help make financial decisions, often working online or remotely. As a digital advisor, you may use a tool known as a robo-advisor to put together the basics of a financial plan. From there, you work one-on-one with clients to develop the right plans for them. Job duties include creating detailed and accurate reports, understanding client needs, examining data, and conducting meetings to advise clients on future investments. Qualifications for this career typically include a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, but employers look for experience in economics and business law as well. Customer service and organizational skills are also preferred.
