What is UX and UI design?

UX and UI jobs both deal with the user-facing parts of a program or website. They deal with different aspects of the design. UX design stands for user experience. This means that all design elements are focused on the experience of the shopper or reader to the site, and anticipating the needs of the user to optimize clicks, buys, and return visits. UI stands for user interface design. This is the technical side of the user’s journey; user interface designers focus on how to make a design work and adapt to changing technology, like smaller smartphone screens.
