What is medical assembly?

Medical assembly is the process of putting together medical devices. A medical device assembler is part of a team of technicians whose duties and responsibilities include making medical appliances by hand or by using specialized tools to assemble a product. Jobs in medical assembly require manual dexterity, attention to detail and the ability to perform manual labor. Skills and qualifications for the job of medical assembler include a minimum of a high school degree or GED certificate, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
