What does an online writing instructor do?

As an online writing instructor, your job is to teach students proper spelling, grammar, and advanced writing skills. In this role, you may teach them how to draft a longer paper or essay, help them learn to write in various styles, and otherwise help them improve their written communication skills. Online writing instructors teach at various levels, ranging from introductory classes for homeschooled students to college-level writing, and some work as personal tutors to help students who have specific challenges or need extra help. Online writing instructors may work one-on-one or teach a larger class of students. If you work for a school, this job may require participating in activities like school events or supervising a club.
