What does an online instructor do?

An online instructor works with students over the internet rather than in a classroom. As an online instructor, your students complete your course via online means of instruction, including video conferencing software, instant messaging and online chat, web forums for the class, and email. You teach through video lectures, podcasts, articles, and interactive seminars. You have similar job duties to a classroom teacher. You must prepare and implement lesson plans, evaluate student work, and provide grades to recognize their learning and progress.
