What does an MSL do?

As a medical science liaison (MSL), you work in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries, concentrating on a specific therapeutic area, such as biotechnology, oncology, cardiology, or women’s health. Your responsibilities revolve around ensuring that health care products are effective, and you collaborate with researchers, marketing teams, and business leaders throughout the company to fulfill your duties. Additionally, you develop relationships with prominent physicians at leading universities and hospitals and serve as a liaison between them and stakeholders within your company. You may host advisory boards and solicit their opinions and insights regarding the development of medicines, devices, and other therapies.
