As an international project engineer, your responsibilities include being the manager of an overseas construction project. These projects can range from residential buildings to complex infrastructure programs like bridges and tunnels. Your first duties include bidding and negotiating potential projects. After winning a job, you plan the budget, organize the project, schedule vendors, check technical aspects, and follow up on design and construction progress. You are expected to facilitate communication between customers, vendors, and others, maintain cost control and profitability, and create and monitor project timelines. This job requires travel.
