What does an international math teacher do?
Career: International Math Teacher
As an international math teacher, your job is to travel abroad to teach a class of students about mathematics and related subjects. In this overseas role, you may help your host country improve its curriculum, oversee daily operations at international schools, and provide feedback to parents. This job may require bilingualism. For example, if you are teaching math to a class of Chinese students, you need to speak fluent Chinese. This is not true of all international schools, though, as some schools are primarily English-speaking and provide education to students whose families are temporarily residing in the area. Depending on the age of students, international math teachers may teach anything from introductory to advanced math.
