What does an Exchange engineer do?

As an Exchange engineer, your job is to provide general systems support for the use of Microsoft Exchange Server, which is a mail and calendaring service that runs on a Windows server. Common duties of this job include creating the architecture for migrating content to or from Exchange, troubleshooting problems with the software, and integrating additional features like spam prevention and content filtering. Exchange engineers often help with IT modernization, use analysis software to check for problems, and help create design documents. You also participate in user acceptance tests to see if the software meets all requirements and review documents to gain familiarity with existing legacy systems.
