What does an economics instructor do?

Career: Economics Instructor

An economics instructor is a member of the faculty at a high school or college/university who teaches general economic and financial theories in a business-related curriculum. Instructors may teach an economics class in-person or online but have similar duties in both roles. You teach or guide students through readings and lectures, prepare assignments, grade student work, and act as a researcher or member of a faculty team outside of the classroom. An instructor may also need to monitor and evaluate how students in the class are performing to intervene and help students to achieve greater success throughout the semester.
