What does an archery instructor do?

As an archery instructor, your duties include teaching students the fundamentals of archery, including safety, basic shooting skills, and the foundations of archery equipment. You can teach both compound and recurve arches in field, target, and 3-D archery. Instructors’ responsibilities are towards students who are still early in their education and whose progression requires a transition from basic-to-advanced skills. An archery coach provides training to NFAA elite-level athletes and other exceptional learners. Whether you intend to become an instructor or coach, you should seek qualifications from USA Archery. As an instructor, you complete the first two levels of certification.
