What does a work from home SAS programmer do?

Work from home SAS programmers, or statistical analysis system programmers, manage the data systems of their employer. Instead of working in the office, work from home SAS programmers complete their job duties remotely, either from home or another location outside of the office with internet connectivity. Responsibilities include exporting and importing raw data, creating programs and data sets, managing databases, writing macros, writing reports, and analyzing data for specific uses. Other duties of this home-based position include assisting with data management and storage and documenting and creating analytical data files. You may also collaborate with other departments to load, document, validate, and manage data for internal research projects.
