What does a weekend babysitter do?

As a weekend babysitter, you care for children when their parents or family are away. Your responsibilities are to ensure each child’s safety and clean up after and feed them. Other duties include engaging with children in playful activities, creating playtime activities that are suitable for a child’s age range, and putting them to bed. You might change diapers or help with elementary-level homework. You must also be able to handle emergencies, perform first aid and CPR, and drive children to the hospital in worst-case scenarios. You may provide your care services for the entire weekend or just part of it.
