What does a WebMethods consultant do?

As a WebMethods consultant, your job is to ensure the stability, integrity, and overall operation of the WebMethods software. You may participate in the development of custom software, upgrade the primary WebMethods application, and ensure all integration efforts go smoothly. This is a highly technical position, but you spend some time communicating with other employees, analyzing systems, and solving problems. Some companies have you focus entirely on using WebMethods, while others ask you to do different IT work as part of your daily duties. You may be asked to train other employees, create handbooks and guidelines, and support the company in similar non-technical ways.
