What does a roll off driver do?

A roll-off driver handles waste from high-volume construction, residential, and commercial facilities. As a roll-off driver, you transport open top and compact containers for proper disposal at the landfill. Your responsibilities include handling pick up, hauling, checking the container, completing reports, and complying with all transportation laws and procedures. This job is physically demanding as you mount and dismount a heavy-duty truck during your route. Other duties include inspecting and maintaining your truck, reporting any safety issues to the proper authorities, communicating with dispatch about orders, and receiving customer requests.
