A remote proprietary trader works from home trading stocks, currencies, and bonds. As a remote proprietary trader, you may work for a bank or financial firm, with duties centered on stock market trading. You develop investment strategies to best leverage the capital of the firm or bank in order to maximize returns. Your responsibilities include using specialized software to perform transactions, understanding and tracking stock market changes, and making potentially high-risk trades to the benefit of your employer. Working remotely, your duties also span troubleshooting potential technical issues, communicating with coworkers and team members, and working independently to complete specified tasks.
