The job duties and responsibilities of a remote Cisco engineer involve building and maintaining a computer network using Cisco brand products. In this position, you work from home on the development, expansion, update, and maintenance of a computer system for a company, organization, or other entity. You also create or customize applications to meet the computer needs of your client or employer. In addition to building network infrastructure, you may also provide support and training for employees who use the system. You monitor system security and performance as well.
