What does a remote architect do?

As a remote architect, you work from home and design architecture to the specifications of your client. In this role, you may use virtual office software to coordinate with other members of your firm, modify existing designs, and participate in meetings to ensure all architectural designs meet the needs of each client. Despite the remote nature of this job, many remote architects travel at least some of the time to visit build sites, oversee construction, or participate in meetings. This job title refers exclusively to the structural design form of architecture and should not be confused with remote software or data architecture jobs, which are completely different but may appear in your search results.
