What does a relocation consultant do?

As a relocation consultant, you help employees with tasks related to moving to a new location for their jobs. Your duties usually involve working with transferees, or current employees moving to a different office, but you can also provide services for new hires. In this role, you assist with the moving process and provide storage solutions and short-term rentals for employees who need to move quickly. Your responsibilities also involve helping transferees or new hires plan for the cost of living in their new location, find schools and health care facilities, and obtain services such as childcare.
