What does a Reiki practitioner do?

Your job duties as a Reiki practitioner focus on providing treatment to patients using the Japanese healing energy practice known as Reiki. During a Reiki session, you move the energy of the patient using your hands. The goal of this treatment is to encourage physical healing and mental and physical wellness. The responsibilities of a Reiki practitioner may also include explaining the philosophy and uses of Reiki. You can work independently or as part of the staff in a complementary and alternative medicine center or spa.
