What does a real estate apprentice do?

A real estate apprentice works with a licensed real estate agent or broker. In this position, you assist with real estate research, transactions, and administration while training to become a real estate professional. Your responsibilities may vary depending on the apprenticeship program; you may perform market research, collect information about properties, prepare listings, set appointments with clients, or perform other duties to help agents and brokers buy and sell properties. You also take classes and prepare for your state's real estate agent examination. Apprenticeships or trainee positions are also available for real estate appraisers and inspectors.
