What does a part time car driver do?

As a part-time car driver, you drive to or from specific locations to pickup and drop off passengers or the car itself. If you transport passengers, this is effectively a taxi or ride-sharing service, though you are not limited to cars—some drivers use shuttle vans, limousines, or other vehicles to carry people. If you are transporting the vehicle itself, your job is to make it available to customers or return it to a rental lot so the next renter can pick it up. These jobs are especially common near airports, passenger train stations, and other transportation hubs. You may drive just one type of vehicle if you are moving passengers, but if you are transporting cars instead, you may need to learn to adjust to many different types of vehicles quickly. This job title refers only to moving passengers or vehicles; transporting cargo part-time is a different job.
