Career: Multimedia Programmer

As a multimedia programmer, your job is to design and create computer software that includes creative or interactive elements, such as additional graphics or audio. To fulfill the responsibilities and duties of this position, you may select one or more programming languages that are appropriate for the software, consider aspects like cross-platform integration, and work with other developers to produce complex software. Multimedia programmers may work full-time or as freelancers, and employers may allow you to work from home rather than requiring you to come into an office.
