What does a liquor store manager do?

A liquor store manager oversees the daily operations at a liquor store or the liquor department of a grocery store. In this career, you supervise other salespeople and assistants, direct stocking tasks, create displays for promotions or improving sales, develop new promotions, such as tastings or special events, and assist customers with questions about spirits, wine, and beer. Your duties and responsibilities also include keeping the books, monitoring inventory, placing orders with vendors, and meeting with sales reps to test out new products you are considering for sale.
