What does a janitorial cleaner do?

A janitorial cleaner is in charge of cleaning a building, restocking sanitation supplies, emptying trash, and performing general maintenance on the facility. In this career, you may work alone or on a team, following the direction of either a head janitor, custodian, or another person in charge of building maintenance. You fulfill most of your responsibilities inside, but you may need to empty a trash bin outside if one is available for building guests. Your duties can be considered dirty and unpleasant, and they can be physically demanding.
