What does a driver helper do?

As a driver helper, your duties are to help a delivery driver to load and unload their truck and accompany them on the route from the warehouse or shipping facility to customers. Your specific responsibilities also include helping to prepare and store equipment, such as hand trucks and dollies for moving large packages. Many driver helpers work for the large parcel delivery services, such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL, and they are often entry-level jobs where you get training before you can work as a delivery person yourself.
