What does a design studio consultant do?

As a design studio consultant, you work in the interior design department or the design studio of a home building company. Your duties include meeting with a client who is having a home built and showing them various visual layouts and options depending on the size of their space. Once your client selects a design plan, your responsibilities include preparing final design studio documents and alerting customers to any changes. You also manage design studio displays and samples and order supplies. When you are not meeting with customers and working on design projects, you may be responsible for completing other tasks assigned by the manager.
