What does an RN Day do?

As an RN day shift nurse, your job involves providing health care during the daytime and helping treat the medical condition or ailments of a patient. The precise definition of a day shift varies by facility, but you usually work a 7 am to 3 pm schedule. Like most nursing jobs, you may be asked to work extra shifts or come in on other days if your facility needs extra help. The other aspects of your job depend on where you work, but you may also have to review patient information with evening shift nurses as you clock in or out to help provide continuity of care.
