What does a Class D delivery driver do?

In most states, a Class D license is a standard, non-commercial driver's license that allows you to operate basic vehicles, such as sedans, SUVs, and vans. Class D delivery drivers distribute goods along a specific route while driving a non-commercial car. In this role, you may load your cargo at the warehouse, unload it on the doorstep or another location at the client's destination, ensure the safe storage and delivery of all items within your van, and request confirmation signatures from clients upon delivering their products. Some employers also require you to maintain your vehicle and make sure it is clean and in good working order.
