What does a car dealership shuttle driver do?

As a car dealership shuttle driver, you drive a customer to or from their work or home while their vehicle is in the shop as a courtesy service. You may also drop off a passenger at another destination of their choosing. You act as the ambassador of the dealership, making strong customer service skills essential. Your duties involve greeting individuals and assisting them as necessary. You work closely with a dispatcher to stay on schedule and respond to changes in your route. Other responsibilities include keeping a log of your trips, alerting the automotive department of repairs and maintenance for your shuttle vehicle, and following all traffic laws and company policies.
