What does a breakfast server do?

A breakfast server works at a hotel or resort restaurant, a diner, or a brunch spot. As a breakfast server, your responsibilities are to provide table service to each customer, which includes taking each person’s order, explaining daily specials, and answering guest questions about the menu. You then relay the order to the kitchen. When the orders are ready, you deliver the meals to the table. In some places, such as hotels with buffets, you may serve breakfast from behind the counter rather than performing the duties of a waiter.
