What does a battery test engineer do?

As a battery test engineer, you plan and develop different methods to test batteries to ensure that they meet all the technical and legal specifications for safety and design. You also ensure that they work properly before the company manufactures them at a large scale. Your duties are to test the entire battery system as well as individual features, such as the cell or the electronic circuitry if it connects to another product. One of your primary responsibilities is to come up with a variety of methods of testing the batteries in real work conditions to ensure there are no defects.
