What do work from home nurses do?

As a work from home nurse, you provide remote case management, triage health care, and perform other duties for a medical clinic or health care provider. Though work from home nurses do not meet with patients in person, they are able to speak to patients over the phone or through a digital platform, such as video chat, to discuss health issues, symptoms, or injury. As a work from home nurse, you take medical histories and provide advice to patients who are concerned about whether or not to seek further medical care. Other work from home nurses handle insurance claims, health informatics, call center loads, or even teach remotely.
