What does a video game producer do?

A video game producer oversees video game design projects, often for gaming consoles or computers. Their responsibilities can include everything from working with the creative and quality assurance teams, designing the story arc, to public relations. As a producer their duties may also include meeting with financiers to get the project funded, working with marketers to advertise the video game, or working with a legal team to get the game licensed. It is their job to manage all aspects of the production of games and solve any problems that arise.
