What does a teacher do?

Teachers work with students to educate them on a variety of subjects. Specific job duties for teachers vary, depending on the grade they teach and their specialty. Preschool teachers typically work with kids from ages two to four and work on building blocks of education, such as the alphabet, colors, and basic shapes. The next stages of education are elementary school, middle school, and high school. In these years, teachers continue to progress their students' academic skills through grammar, math, science, and history. They also include lessons on life skills, such as how to study well, which prepares students for college and the workplace.
