Services advisors provide advice and information about a specific service or product their company offers. For example, an automotive service advisor listens to customers to figure out what is wrong with their vehicle and then discusses different service options with the customer and the mechanic or technician. Conversely, a healthcare services advisor helps potential customers learn more about various health care plans and options. Services advisors work in many different industries, and although the information they share is industry-specific, their duties tend to focus on providing customers with answers to questions or concerns they have.
