There are several work from home jobs available to those fluent in the German language. Positions include virtual German language teacher, home-based German tutor, and online German translator. Home-based German teachers may work for online language schools or for the online department of a high school or college. Your responsibilities involve using online portals to instruct students on the mechanics of the language, including grammar and pronunciation; maintain student grade reports; and educate students about German culture. German tutors focus on areas of the language that the student has trouble understanding.
