What are labor jobs?

Labor jobs are employment opportunities that typically require physical strength, endurance, and manual work, but have no educational requirements. General construction work, loading and unloading of supplies, and moving materials are examples of labor jobs that you can find. Your job duties may include cleaning up job sites, assisting skilled workers with tools and equipment, and setting up and taking down ladders, scaffolds, cones, and barricades. You may have informal day labor work arrangements with contractors or subcontractors, and as you build relationships with your employers, you can gain more permanent employment.
