What does a welding tech do?

A Welding Tech, or Welding Technician, is responsible for joining metal parts using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding. They read and interpret blueprints, set up and operate welding equipment, and inspect finished welds for quality and safety standards. Welding Techs may also perform repairs, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety regulations in industrial, manufacturing, or construction settings.
