What is a VFC?

VFC stands for Vaccine For Children coordinator, or sometimes refers to the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program itself. VFC coordinators are responsible for managing vaccine inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling, maintaining records, and complying with federal and state program requirements. The VFC program is a federally funded initiative that provides free vaccines to eligible children who might not otherwise be vaccinated due to inability to pay.
