What is a valve tech?

Valve Techs, or Valve Technicians, are skilled professionals responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing industrial valves used to control the flow of liquids and gases in pipelines and machinery. They work in industries such as oil and gas, water treatment, manufacturing, and power generation. Their duties often include inspecting valves for wear, disassembling and reassembling components, performing pressure tests, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
