What is a travel RDCS?

Travel RDCS are Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers who work on a temporary or contract basis, often traveling to different healthcare facilities across regions or the country. They perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures to help diagnose heart conditions. Travel RDCS fill in staffing gaps, assist during busy periods, or provide specialized expertise. This role offers flexibility, variety in work environments, and opportunities to gain broad experience, but it may require frequent relocation and adapting to new teams.
