What is a temporary traveling RBT?

A Temporary Traveling Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a certified paraprofessional who provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to clients, often children with autism, in various locations for a limited period. These professionals travel to different areas or facilities to fill staffing needs, support new programs, or cover for other RBTs on leave. The role requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn and adhere to different workplace protocols. Temporary Traveling RBTs work under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and must maintain active RBT certification during their assignments.
