What is a Temporary Botox RN?

A Temporary Botox RN is a registered nurse who is hired on a short-term or contract basis to administer Botox injections and possibly other cosmetic injectables. These nurses are typically brought in to meet increased demand or to cover for permanent staff. They must be licensed RNs and often have specialized training or certification in aesthetic procedures. Temporary Botox RNs work under the supervision of a medical director and must adhere to state and facility guidelines regarding cosmetic treatments.
